This meeting focused on the work being undertaken to implement the Hep C Action Plan at a national level and the work being taken forward by Rik Hodgson in Grampian.   This work will focus on two main areas 1) provision of training and support for the voluntary sector in relation to issues around Hep C and 2) service user advocacy and support in relation to treatment services.

It was agreed that the Forum would support a briefing event in the autumn and facilitate access to appropriate networks.  It was also agreed that a plan for briefing across Grampian would be discussed between the Forum Chairs.  Senga will make contact with the Chairs of the Aberdeenshire Forums in the first instance.
